Goosebumps The Curse of Camp Cold Lake
Who loves the water? That is the question that Sara, the main character in this story asked herself several times. Well, she is very complicated and she hates the water so badly. His brother Aaron by the other way, loves it. They are both sent to Camp Cold Lake for vacations, which off-course had to do with water activities that Sara just hates. Before getting there, many words came to Sara's mind, like "OMG why I need to go to a place that I don't like?" or "ew!, the fact of only thinking of putting my feet in the awful water makes me nausea". But going to that camp of water was not the worst that happened to poor Sara that summer. When she arrived there, she got not a good cabin, with precisely the bed that was near the window to which the cold breeze was always getting through. Her cabin friends were not very polite to her, besides they already knew each other from the past Camps. Sara was completely new and she putted problem to everything, that's why she didn't get along with no one at there. Brianna, the meanest girl from the camp, tried very hard to make lonely Sara's life impossible while being there. But Sara, didn't let her take her down, so she also played hard on her. The question here is: will Sara remain at the Camp for all the vacations?, or will she just not handle all the bad situations and phranks on her?
For me, the book is awesome. Every-time I read some pages, I feel so intrigued that I want to keep on reading but at the same time, I don't want to finish it. The main character Sara, looks a lot like me, not in the fact that she doesn't like water, but the way society treats her that makes her act in a particular way. Sometimes, you just need to be by yourself and don't trust anyone because most of the people that surrounds you, are just fake. Sara also remembers the complicated students that are in my classroom that just don't like anything. Brianna and the other girls, are the typical "popular" girls that try hard to let people down everywhere they go. Sincerely, I am really enjoying this book, because it has many connections to my life and what happens around me. I want to finish the book now so I can figure out what happens to Sara while she is there at the camp.
